MSI Launches 27-inch All-In-One Gaming PC - Tom's Hardware

MSI has released its 27" All-in-One Gaming PC.

It was at CES last summer that we first heard about MSI's upcoming all-in-one gaming computer, and ever since then there have been many little details seeping out of the rumor mill. Now MSI has released its AG2712 Gaming All-in-One PC.

Packing a 27" 1080p matte display, and supporting up to 10-point multitouch, the machine certainly shows promise as an all-in-one PC. To quench the (light) gamer's thirst, MSI has equipped the AG2712 with a mobile Core i7 CPU and Nvidia GTX 670MX graphics, which packs 3 GB of graphics memory. System memory is handled by 12 GB of DDR3 memory, expandable to 16 GB. Storage is taken care of by a 1 TB 3.5" hard drive in combination with a 128 GB SSD.

Lastly, MSI has opted to give the AG2712 a 2 megapixel front camera, two 5-watt speakers, a Blu-Ray optical drive, a 3-in-1 card reader, four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, the standard headphone jacks, VGA and HDMI out, and most impressively, an HDMI in port. The last allows users to plug in their PS3 or Xbox 360, or any other HDMI compatible device, and use the computer as a big screen.

So far there has been no word on US pricing, although European MSRP pricing is expected to be between ?1899 and ?1999. The AG2712 All-in-One Gaming PC will hit European shelves just prior to the end of April, with no official word yet on U.S. availability.
